The Essentials

This first post is to inform everyone on how we judge our burgers and burger joints. We not only evaluate the burger themselves, but also the entire atmosphere of the place. You may ask why should I trust ya'll and your judgement on burgers. Well I am an offensive lineman and my partner is an experienced burger connoisseur. We've been well versed in the ancient art of burgers for many years. We've been taught by artists named "The Big Show", "Big Country", and "Howard". Now that you know you can trust our judgement on this most serious of matters its time to get to the good stuff. Every criteria will be judged and given a value from 1-5. 5 being the pinnacle of success, this best that there is.

CRITERIA.

Quality vs. Quantity:
Q&Q is one of the single most important factors in judging burgers. How people can claim to judge and love burgers without the quality vs quantity topic is beyond me. A good example of just pure quantity is this, Which of course only leads us to this. It's cheap and fast thats all quantity is. Quality takes more time. It's an art that is learned and passed down through generations. It's home made patties that grilled fresh to your order. Both factors will be given a value to make your educated opinions.

Cost:
This one is pretty self explanatory... How much is this burger going to cost you (For those of you on a budget)? Its bling bling. Pure and simple. 5 is an expensive burger, 1 is cheap. FYI McDonald's would be a 1, just a quick example to give you an idea.

Full Factor:
The Full Factor is a criteria based solely on the size of the burgers available. Normally we crush the biggest one available. Were talking how much beef can you get on a patty and the variety of sizes. Are you going to walk out looking like this or like this feeling like a champion? You cant buy happiness like that!

Ease of Eating:
Ease of Eating is also pretty self explanatory. How easy is this burger to eat? Is it one of those burgers that end with you having a pile of napkins like this? Another factor that will be added into this group with be the bun to meat ratio (for those of you who don't like 18 patties and 2 buns). This is an example of too much love in between the buns.

Side Dishes:
Side Dishes... One of the most difficult questions burger fans will ever have to face. Do you go fries? Onion rings? Tots? We'll give you the low down on all your options.

Ambiance:
Ambiance is a complicated animal. This is just the general feel of the joint. Is it more of a place you take the family on the weekend. Is it more of a place that you go to with your bro's to watch the game. We'll scope out the place and let you know what it feels like. This category wont be given a value just our general overall thought on the ambiance of the establishment.

Last but not least... We are taking all suggestions on places to go... Don't be discouraged if it doesn't show up too soon... We already have a pretty solid list of places that need to evaluated. However if you know some mom and pop shops that are local and undiscovered we'd love to hear about it!!!
